The London Down Syndrome Association (LDSA) helps and cares so very much for all parents and families who have or know someone with Down Syndrome. My daughter is now 32 and has been fortunate to be involved with many fun and educational activities offered through the LDSA.
Parent support groups, young adult special themed dances and cooking classes are just a few of the things we take part in. My daughter looks forward to Halloween and Valentine dances and she loves the cooking classes. We could never afford these incredible specialized events without the financial support of the LDSA. Our daughter’s best friends are all involved with the LDSA and it means the world to her to be able to take part.
As a mom I remember how LDSA was my lifeline to learning and connecting to other parents who had a child with Down Syndrome when our daughter was born. A time when we really needed it.
Please consider supporting a totally volunteer parent/family driven charity that brings hope and support to many families from a very large area of Southwestern Ontario.
