It all started March 2018. My husband and I went to the hospital to welcome our rainbow baby. Within a couple hours of our son’s birth, doctors told us he had several symptoms of Down Syndrome. After a blood test confirmed, I began googling Down Syndrome and came across the London Down Syndrome Association. I got in contact with them and they shared a lot of information with me regarding my son’s diagnosis. In the past year they have helped my family by providing information about funding that is out there for him and giving us an idea on the delays to expect. The support received by fellow families has been phenomenal and the London Down Syndrome Association has made our whole family feel welcome.
